Provided in Neptune Beach, FL, SkinPen microneedling is an FDA-cleared treatment that creates tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin to trigger your body's natural collagen response. At Human Touch Aesthetics in Neptune Beach, FL, we use it to treat acne scars, fine lines, uneven texture and dullness with minimal downtime.

Start with a $50 consultation. We'll review your goals, compare treatment areas and recommend a plan. The fee will be applied to your treatment price, and in most cases we can treat you during the same visit.

Boost your results with VAMP. Add VAMP serum to your microneedling treatment. It combines PDRN with hyaluronic acid, vitamins and minerals to help hydrate, smooth and brighten skin and to improve the look of dark spots and scarring.

Microneedling FAQ

What can SkinPen microneedling treat?
SkinPen is FDA-cleared to treat facial acne scars. At Human Touch Aesthetics in Neptune Beach, FL, we also use it to soften fine lines, uneven texture and dullness. Your provider will tell you what results are realistic for your skin at your consultation.

How many sessions will I need?
Most clients do a series of [3 to 6] treatments spaced [4 to 6] weeks apart. Acne scars usually need more sessions than general texture or glow. Collagen builds gradually, so results keep improving for several weeks after each treatment.

Does it hurt, and what is the downtime?
[We apply numbing cream before treatment], so most people feel pressure and vibration rather than pain. Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for one to three days, followed by some dryness or flaking. Most clients return to normal activities the next day. Avoid sun exposure and use SPF afterward.

Who should not have microneedling?
Microneedling isn't right for everyone. You may need to wait or choose another treatment if you have:

  • Active acne breakouts, cold sores or skin infections in the treatment area
  • Eczema, psoriasis or open wounds in the treatment area
  • A recent sunburn or fresh tan
  • A history of keloid scars
  • A bleeding disorder or use of blood thinners
  • Recent isotretinoin (Accutane) use
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
